Peter Norman Dawson

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing from Ben Uri, The London Jewish Museum of Art. We are currently researching the artist Peter Norman Dawson for an exhibition to celebrate the centenary anniversary of The London Group. From my research, I believe Dawson taught ‘descriptive geometry’ at the Beckenham School of Art for six years. I do not have an exact date for when this was, as it is taken from a cover letter for an undated job application. I would hazard a guess that it was some time in the early or mid thirties though.

Is there an archive for Beckenham School of Art that could give me more information about this artist? We are looking for a painting by him to exhibit in the show and it is proving incredibly difficult to find anything on him.

I would be very grateful for any help you can give me.

Kindest Regards,
