For nearly fifty years Desmond has been a designer-maker of furniture and other objects in wood. During this time he has participated in many prestigious exhibitions in this country and abroad. Although much of his work is commissioned, he also designs one-off pieces and short runs of high quality items for general sale.

This year he is having an exhibition in a marquee in the grounds of:

Pashley Manor Gardens is a beautiful, quintessentially English garden and this exhibition will be held during the annual Sculpture Festival week, Saturday 23rd May – Saturday 30th May from 11am until 5pm. The extensive grounds are wonderful, as is the Garden Cafe and Gift shop.

The Exhibition will feature a variety of mirrors, vases, clocks, bowls and boxes. Also on display will be a selection of photos of past work, models of commissioned pieces and prototypes of automaton woodpecker and owl clocks.

Entrance is £9.50 and includes entrance to the Tudor Hall of the Manor to view the smaller sculptures and maquettes.
